  • General questions

    • How does Rendi work?

      You can order a cleaning service, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, mattress cleaning in your home with a few clicks with Rendi. The package prices are based on square meters or the number of items so you can find the best solution for your home size and location. Another option by ordering a cleaning service is choosing the cleaning detergent package, which is a great help if you do not have enough or good quality detergents. We also thought of people who live in a green household, so you can also choose our BIO cleaner package. You can also rent cleaning supplies, which is a great help if there is a lack of good quality supplies at home.  After your order is placed, we will send you a confirmation email.


    • What happens if I need to cancel my booking, and how can I do that?

      We have created the Rendi platform to be as flexible as possible, but at the same time, we have some rules in place.

      Our goal is to provide high-quality and reliable cleaners and orders for our Customers and Cleaners.

      We understand that emergencies sometimes do arise unexpectedly, but changing the ordered service at a short notice, our cleaners will lose valuable working hours, so we may charge a cancellation fee in some cases.

      If the cleaner cannot get into the household or the customer does not claim cleaning, then the full cleaning fee will be automatically billed.

      In case of a single order:

      If the customer cancels his or her order 36 hours before the start, we will charge 2500 HUF cancellation fee.

      In case of regular ordering:

      To be qualified for this discount you are required to order once or twice per week at least 5 occasions. If the entire order is canceled before the 5 occasions, then the amount of the “unlawfully used” discount will be deducted, and a one-time cancellation fee of HUF 5000 will be charged.

      If the entire order is canceled due to dissatisfaction, then this must be communicated to us. We are working with hundreds of cleaning partners to ensure that all our customers find the best cleaners that suit their needs and they will be satisfied with their service provided in the long-run.

      In all cases, it is recommended to use the Rendi profile, because with just a few clicks you are able to change the order details easily.

      For weekly and fortnightly order:

      At least 5 occasions are required for weekly and fortnightly orders. A weekly order should be used for cleaning within 7 weeks, and the fortnightly order should be used for cleaning within 14 weeks.

      Monthly order:

      During a monthly order, 3 occasions are required within 5 months.

       After you log in you can cancel your cleaning under "Active orders" tab. There click on the garbage can icon.

      In case of ordering a carpet, upholstery or mattress cleaning you can delete or modify by telephone. 

    • The whole day was not enough to clean my place, what happens next?

      In this case the cleaner will notify us in regards of additional time, and we will contact you to ask for your approval.

    • What if the service was unsatisfactory?

      Our cleaners will do their hardest to make your home sparkle, however, if you are unsatisfied with the service, please send us back the evaluation form that we send you by e-mail after each cleaning and our complaint manager will contact you. Please send pictures in advance to [email protected], to help us decide whether your complaint is legitimate.


    • How can I rate the service provider?

      Depending on the completion of the cleaning, we will send you a short evaluation form around 7 pm or at 11 am on the following day. Please fill out this form and send it back so that our partners' performance review is always up to date.

    • Do I have to be home at the time of the cleaning?

      No, you don’t have to be at home.

    • What can I do if the Rendi cleaner doesn’t come on the agreed time?

      If the cleaner can’t get to you on the agreed time, they will notify us and we will inform you. If the time of their arrival is not acceptable for you, we will reschedule according to your needs.

    • How does the payment work?

      We accept cashless payments via our secure online payment system.



    • Will I receive a receipt?

      Yes, the cleaner will send you a receipt. During placing the order you must let us know if you need a VAT receipt.

    • In which areas do you operate?

      At the moment we can serve customers in Budapest, Pécs, Szeged, Debrecen, and Győr. More places coming soon!

    • How can I become a Rendi house cleaner?

      If you are experienced in home cleaning, please fill in our application form HERE

    • How does Rendi.hu guarantee the realiability of the cleaners?

      We only work with cleaners who we have met in person, interviewed and rigirously background checked - cleaners we\'d be happy to have clean our own homes!

    • How can I change my password?

      After you log in, you can change your password by clicking on your name. There click on the "Change password" button. 

    • How can I change the date, the address, or the extras of the cleaning?

      After you log in, you can change it under "My orders" tab. There click on the pencil icon.

    • How can I invite my friends?

      On the website choose the "Affiliates" tab. There you can invite your friends via e-mail adress and receive 1000 HUF on your balance after their first order is made.They get 1500 HUF OFF from their first order in return. 

    • Why should I register if I gave all my personal datas during the order?

      Registration has many benefits as you can track your order, and you can even get a free cleaning from our affiliate program.

    • Will my personal information be safe?

      We will never give out your personal information to third parties. For more information regarding privacy please read our privacy policy.  Furthermore our servers do not store your card details to ensure an extra level of security.

    • Should I prepare my home for the cleaner?

      The tidier the house, the easier for the cleaner to clean. If you don't have the time to prepare your home for the cleaner, choose our deep cleaning extra and we will completely remove the burden from your shoulders!

    • What happens if I do not need an ordered and paid extra or I want to add new extras for my cleaning?

      In your profile, you can add extras to your order. If you add an extra, its price will automatically be deducted after the cleaning. If you delete an extra from your order then the overpayment will be credited to your Rendi balance after the cleaning.


    • What type of cleanings does Rendi not offer?

      We can't fulfill these requests:

      -Cleaning and disinfection after the deceased

      -Cleaning and disinfection of human or animal fecies

      -Cleaning at crime scenes, accidents

      -Cleaning burned out homes, smoke and soot removal, mitigation, plastering etc.

      -Graffity removal

      -Disinfection and cleaning of sewers

      -Removing contaminated land

      -Other extreme cleaning types not mentioned above

    • Can I add an extra on the spot?

      Sure, you can! After you log in, you can change it under "My orders" tab. There click on the pencil icon.

    • How often should you have your carpet cleaned?

      At least once every six month.

    • What Happens if the service cannot be executed due to bad weather?

      In this case, our partner will consult with you about a possible new date before starting the garden works. If the weather turns bad during work, you are able to arrange a new appointment on the spot.

  • Cleaning

    • Does Rendi provide me the cleaning tools?

      If you don't have proper cleaning tools, please select this Cleaning Tools package! What does the package contain? 1 piece Samsung VC07M2110SB / GE vacuum cleaner, 1 piece Vileda wash set, 1 piece window cleaner, 1 piece dustbin + 1 brush, 1 piece scrubbing brush, 2 pieces 4max dishwashing sponges, 3 pieces sponges, 3 pieces microporous Spontex shawls and 1 pieces pair of flasks .This package does not contain cleaning detergents, however you can still chose the "Order Cleaning Detergents" option. All of your ordered items will be delivered by the cleaner right before at the agreed time. Currently this service is only available in Budapest.

    • What cleaning products and equipment is recommended to have?

      Cleaning products (toilet cleaners, general purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, detergents and grease solvents)
      Cleaning equipment (mop & bucket, broom, dust brush & pan)
      Vacuum cleaner (including any extra parts required)
      4 cloths (one each for):
      - Bathrooms
      - Toilet
      - Kitchen
      - Other surfaces
      Sponges (or additional cloths if you prefer)
      Duster (or dusting cloths of your choice)

    • How many doors does the "doors" extra contain?

      The extra covers all the doors located in the house as well as the door edges.

    • How many Rendi cleaners are coming?

      It depends on your household size and the number of extras. If we send more than 1 colleagues there is no extra charge, you only have to pay for the fix tarrifs seen on the website.

    • What does the deep cleaning extra contain?

      This extra is the extension of time which is added to the basic cleaning service:

      - If your home hasn't been cleaned for 2+ weeks
      -Before moving in

      Deep cleaning doesn't contain other extras.

      In case you would like to book a cleaning after renovation, please choose our "Cleaning after renovation" extra service.

  • Carpet cleaning

    • What kind of carpet cleaning should I order?

      Basically we distinguish two types of carpets: floor mat and normal carpet. The carpet’s material doesn’t matter because the machines used by our partners and it can be used on all carpet types.

    • How often should you have your carpet cleaned?

      At least once every six month.

    • How can you measure your carpet size?

      1. option: Use a tape measure

      2. option: Walk along the two longest ends of the carpet. When finished write down the number of steps it took you to walk through and multiply the steps with 30.

    • Do you undertake the cleaning of glued carpet?

      Yes, we undertake.

    • Do you clean also office chairs and mattresses?

      Yes we offer professional upholstery and mattress cleaning as well.

    • I have animal feces on the carpet can Rendi clean it?

      Because of sanitary issues we can't provide animal feces removal.

    • Do you take the carpet from my home, clean it and you bring it back?

      No. We do the carpet cleaning at your home and  bring the professional cleaning equipment too.

  • Upholstery Cleaning

    • What kind of machine do the cleaners use?

    • What if my upholstery has deep stains on it?

    • How often should you have your upholstery cleaned?

      At least once every six month.

    • Can dust mites be exterminated during the upholstery cleaning?

      With a thorough cleaning without a doubt! Important to note that dust mites can be found everywhere in our homes therefore we recommend regular cleaning to achieve long lasting results. If you call us for this reason choose our other cleaning services as well to minimize the number of these creatures in your home. No need to worry we can keep your home clean for the long run with our regular cleaning packages!:)

    • Can I clean stains on my own?

      There are many home-based practices that provide temporary solutions however it is highly advised to clean your upholsteries professionally every 6 months.

    • When is it advisable to request upholstery cleaning?

      -Before and after corporate events

      - Receptions, before and after the opening of the exhibition

      -In case of allergic reactions or regular illnesses

      - For hotels or hotels where it is difficult to move the carpet

      - Office renovation and removals

      - For apartments and condominiums

    • What if my mattress has deep stains on it?

    • How often should my mattress be cleaned?

      With normal usage it is enough to deepclean your mattresses annually however if you suffer from allergic or asthmatic illnesses we advise a biannual cleaning.

    • Can you fully remove all stains from the mattress?

      Mattresses are subjected to continuous daily usage therefore dirt accumulation is unavoidable in the upper and lower regions of the mattress cover. These stains provide a growthbed for bacteria which increase the number of dust mites. Because of this we advise at least an annual cleaning of mattresses.

    • When should I clean my mattress?

      - Before moving in
      - After a renovation 
      - When purchasing a new mattress

  • Air Conditioner cleaning

    • What is an ozone disinfection?

      Ozone is one of the strongest disinfectant and oxidizing molecules. Disinfection is done in an environmentally friendly way, without the use of chemicals. The whole room, as well as the ventilation passages, are filled with the ozone gas, thus destroying all funguses (mold), virus and bacteria. After use, the car interior and the treated room should be ventilated for 30-40 minutes while the ozone gas breaks down to a normal oxygen molecule. Ozone climate and room disinfection is one of the safest ways to keep our living environment free of pathogens. The oxidation process with ozone is so effective that microorganisms cannot build up immunity against it, as is the case with conventional chemicals.

    • What type of air conditioner cleaning are our professionals offer?

      Car AC: Cleaning your car's AC takes about 30 minutes. The ozone generator can be operated from your car's cigarette lighter and completely cleans the car's AC. Available as an extra service: disinfection of the entire cabin, means our Partner will continue to operate the machine. 

      House air conditioner: The ozone generator will be placed in the room where the indoor unit of the air conditioner is located and cleans the whole unit in about 1 hour. In addition, our partner removes the front of the indoor unit and the filter inside it. She/He will wash it out and then put it back. (It is worth doing it twice a year, winter and summer.) 

      Disinfection of an apartment/room: If you want the disinfection and deodorization of the whole apartment, then the cleaning of the climate is for free! In the case of moldy walls,  our partner, will wash it down and then will begin the disinfection procedure.

    • How often should be an air conditioner to be cleaned?

      The air conditioner needs to be cleaned twice a year: before the summer and winter seasons.

    • Is it possible to stay in the room/car during the disinfection?

      It is not recommended to stay in the car or in the room during and for 30 minutes after the disinfection. Neither plant nor animal can be in the room where disinfection takes place! The ozone gas is then converted to ordinary oxygen and the room can be put back in use.

  • Gardening

    • How does Rendi work?

      Your order through Rendi.hu will be forwarded to reliable, verified cleaning service providers. Our partners will then contact you and make a personalized quote for you.

    • Do I have to provide the tools for gardening or does the service provider have one?

      All the professional tools will be brought to you by our partners. If you would like your own tools to be used, please indicate this in the comment box on the form.

    • When can I expect a service provider to contact me?

      Our partners will try to get in touch with you as soon as possible. This will happen at the latest in 2-3 business days.

  • Window cleaning

    • What is included in window cleaning?

      Window cleaning includes the exterior and interior cleaning of the glass and frame of the windows ordered. Please note that a ladder should be provided by the household whenever it is necessary.

  • Giftcard

    • How can I use my gift card?

      1. Log in / Register.

      2. Click on the "I have a gift card" button, or on your Rendi balance.

      3. After entering the code, the amount on the card will appear on your Rendi balance.

      You will be able to use the balance to pay for the service at the end of the ordering process.
